About Me:
I am first and foremost a Christian and strive everyday to bring glory and honor to the Lord my Savior. My family consists of my wonderfully supportive husband Diep, my awesome daughter KJ, and our newest addition my son ET. We currently reside in beautiful WA.
I was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Texas to attend Univ of TX in Austin. I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Cultural Geography. I have been a dance and color guard teacher for the past 10 years, and participated in both DCI and WGI.
I have a long history in the photography world... starting back to when I was in high school and always behind the camera. I loved assisting nearby professional photographers in Cincinnati and hanging out at the photoshop. I got my first 'gig' at the Newport Aquarium taking pictures of patrons for a company called Color Vision. When I moved to TX I began working as a photographer for Picture People and continued there for 4 years. I learned both film and digital photography, chemical processing, lighting, etc. My experience from Pic People was so diverse: from infants to families of 20, from proms and weddings to a guy who brought in his motorcycle! Needless to say my job was thrilling.
After having my daughter I settled down in a job for a local law firm. I have never lost my love for photography and my thousands of pictures of my daughter is proof of that... but in 2011 I made the decision to make my passion my career and become a full time photographer!
