Feelin' Better

It has been awhile since i have updated and blogged, but there are two reasons for this.  One I haven't had new photo sessions because of the cold, and my crazy busy schedule.... and Two because I have been SICK!  :(  I have been sick for about two weeks with fever, nose issues, cough, blah......  But today, I feel like Meghan again, back to normal!  Yay!  So I will have some pics posted tomorrow of the beautiful weather we had this weekend in Austin.  :)

DANCE!!!!

So I LOVE to dance, and I'm guessing that dance will always somehow be apart of my life.  I'm currently taking classes at SMSD here in Austin and one of my dance teacher's Amanda wanted me to take some pics of her :)  So please enjoy Miss Amanda and her awesome Dance pics we took in the hill country last week!!!!!!

Weekends

So most of you know that I am a total color guard nerd, and have spent the past 15 years of my life either performing or teaching color guard.  Some of you might ask what color guard is.... well... it is a group/team of people who spin flags, riffles, sabers, or anything else they can get their hands on.  They study dance and modern movement, along with theatrics and performance.  The group puts all these features into a 'show'.  For fall we are the visual representation for the marching band on the football field.  But for the winter season we use a basketball court, and attend contests all around the state ending our season in Dayton OH for WGI Championships.  It is a creative athletic world that most people don't even know exists.  I am currently working with two groups: one high school group, and the other an Independent group here in Austin called ATX ATX Winterguard.  So if you have been wandering what I am doing all weekend here it is!

Horses

We live in a neighborhood that has horses in a near by field, and on our way to school my daughter always says good morning to the horses :)  So one day I thought I would go and take some pics of the horses and the cool windmill too.  Enjoy!!!!!!
